In the January-September period of the current year, the steel industry in China's Hebei Province recorded an overall operating revenue of RMB 865.172 billion ($109.6 billion), up 12.87 percent, and a gross profit of RMB 71.351 billion ($9.12 billion), rising by 54.95 percent, both year on year, with the gross profit accounting for 37.73 percent of overall industrial gross profits in Hebei Province in the given period, as announced by Hebei Metallurgical Industry Association.
