HBIS inks strategic agreement with CAERI

Chinese steel giant Hebei Iron and Steel Group (HBIS) has announced that it has inked a strategic cooperation agreement with Chinese state-owned Chongqing-based China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co. (CAERI).

According to the agreement, both parties will promote research and marketing applications for steel for automobile usage, enhance cooperation in automotive testing and set up a joint automobile and parts testing center in northern China.
