Harsco Metals concludes new service contract with ArcelorMittal

On May 4, industrial services and engineered products company Harsco Corporation announced that its Harsco Metals group has concluded a new five-year contract, valued at approximately $18 million, to supply outsourced mill onsite services to ArcelorMittal for its ArcelorMittal Dunkerque works in northern France.

Harsco will expand its onsite role to provide refractory maintenance and meltshop services in continuous support of the mill's ladle metallurgy furnace and converter operations.

The ArcelorMittal Dunkerque works produce over six million metric tons of steel per year, mainly for the automotive industry.
