Hansteel develops additional grades of high-strength IF steel

Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Handan Iron and Steel Group (Hansteel) has announced that it has recently developed production of HC180YD+Z and HC220YD+Z grades of high-strength interstitial-free (IF) steel.
 
The products in question are both ultra-low carbon steel with high strength and extra-deep drawability. To date, Handan Steel has developed HC180YD+Z, HC220YD+Z, CR180IF, CR220IF and CR260IF grades of high-strength IF steel.
