Handan Steel announces November prices

On October 30, 2006, Henan province-based Handan Steel released its November ex-factory product prices. The ex-factory price of hot rolled coil increased RMB 100/mt ($13). The new price of 2.75 mm thick Q235 hot rolled coil is RMB 3,990/mt ($507), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 hot rolled coil is RMB 3,800/mt ($483). The ex-factory price of cold rolled coil increased RMB 50/mt ($6). Thus, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC cold rolled coil is RMB 4,500/mt ($572). The ex-factory price of full hard coil increased RMB 50/mt ($6). The new price of 1.0mm thick SPCC full hard is RMB 4,350/mt ($553). The ex-factory price of <2.5 mm hot rolled galvanized coil increased RMB 100/mt ($13), that of >2.5 mm hot rolled galvanized coil increased RMB 50/mt ($6), while the price of cold rolled galvanized coil increased RMB 180/mt ($23). The new price of 2.5 mm thick SGH340 hot rolled galvanized coil is RMB 5,040/mt ($640), while that of 1.0 mm thick SGCC cold rolled galvanized coil is RMB 5,607/mt ($712) The ex-factory price of color coated coil increased RMB 200/mt ($25). All above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of October 28, 2006.
