Handan Steel announces new prices for coated products

SteelOrbis Shanghai On May 30 2006, Henan province based Handan Steel adjusted the ex-factory prices of hot rolled galvanized coils and color coated coils. The price of hot rolled galvanized coils increased RMB 500/mt ($62), that of color coated coils increased RMB 400/mt ($50). After the adjustment, the price of 3.0 mm thick SGH340 hot rolled galvanized coils increased to RMB 5,420/mt ($676), and that of 1.0 mm thick CGCC color coated coils to RMB 6,390/mt ($797), both prices including 17 percent VAT.
