Growth of China's excavator sales slows down in September

In September, excavator sales in China increased to 15,799 units, 1,956 units more than excavator sales in August, while up 17.8 percent year on year, 1.7 percentage points slower than the growth in August, as announced by China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA). Though the growth of China’s excavator sales slows down in September, it has kept a comparatively fast growth, still signaling China’s infrastructure construction will maintain a quick growth in the remaining period of the year.

In September, excavator sales in domestic market amounted to 13,182 units, up 12.5 percent year on year, while to the export market amounted to 2,617 units, up 54.9 percent year on year.

In the January-September period of the year, excavator sales amounted to 179,195 units, up 14.7 percent year on year, 0.3 percentage point slower than the growth in January-August.
