Government refinancing Sidor's debt
The Venezuelan steel company Sidor, owned 70% by a multinational consortium and 30% by the state currently has $700million debt with the state's development bank Bandes. As reported by the government's news agency Venpres, on July 30, 2002, Venezuelan government will sign an agreement to refinance this debt.Government refinancing Sidor's debt
