Gordon Moffat to step down as EUROFER director general at end of Sept

The European Steel Association (EUROFER) director general Gordon Moffat has announced that he is stepping down at the end of September after 27 years with EUROFER.
 
Moffat joined the EUROFER staff in 1987. He served as director of international affairs since 1998 until his appointment as director general of EUROFER in January 2007.
 
EUROFER was founded in 1976. Its members are steel companies and national steel federations throughout the European Union.
