German wholesale metal prices down 5.6 percent in April

As reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in April this year the wholesale selling prices of industrial products in Germany were 2.4 percent higher compared to April 2011, after a revised year-on-year increase of 2.2 percent recorded in March.

In April of the current year, the wholesale prices of ores, metals and semi-finished metal products in Germany were down 5.6 percent as compared to April last year and down 0.6 percent from March this year.
