German wholesale metal prices down 5.1 percent in June

As reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in June this year the wholesale selling prices of industrial products in Germany were 1.1 percent higher compared to June 2011, after a revised year-on-year increase of 1.7 percent recorded in May. The wholesale price index fell by 1.1 percent in June this year, compared with the previous month.

In June, the wholesale prices of ores, metals and semi-finished metal products in Germany were down 5.1 percent as compared to June last year and down by one percent from May this year.
