As reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in January of the current year the wholesale selling prices of industrial products in Germany were 2.3 percent higher compared to January 2012. Meanwhile, the wholesale price index was 0.3 percent higher in January compared to December 2012.
In January, the wholesale prices of ores, metals and semi-finished metal products in Germany were down 0.9 percent as compared to the same month of 2011 and were up 0.9 percent compared to December 2012.
