As reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in August this year prices of metals in Germany were higher by 17.5 percent as compared to the same month last year and were up 1.3 percent as compared to July this year, while rolled steel prices climbed by 24.3 percent year on year and were up 0.8 percent month on month.
In July, metal prices had increased by 0.5 percent while, rolled steel prices had surged by 1.2 percent, as compared to the previous month.
