Freight volumes on China’s waterways up 7.3 percent in January

China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has announced that in January this year the overall freight volume transported on China’s waterways (rivers, lakes, seas) amounted to 522.44 million mt, increasing by 7.3 percent year on year.
