In the January-April period of the current year, the overall freight volume transported on China’s roads amounted to 11.754 billion mt, increasing by 5.8 percent, while the freight traffic volume on the country’s roads totaled 2.12467 trillion mt-km, up 5.7 percent, both year on year, according to the latest data issued by China’s Ministry of Transportation (MOT).
