Freight volumes on China’s airways up 5.2 percent in January-November

China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has announced that in the January-November period of this year the overall freight volume transported on China’s airways totaled 5.565 million mt, up 5.2 percent year on year, while the freight traffic volume on Chinese airways amounted to 18.8 billion mt-km, rising by 10.3 percent year on year.

In the given period, the overall passenger volume transported on China’s airways totaled 400 million, up 11.2 percent year on year, while the passenger traffic volume amounted to 666.3 billion person-km, rising by 14.8 percent year on year.
