Freight volumes at China’s large ports up 1.9% in January-August

In the January-August period of the current year, freight volumes handled at large ports in China totaled 7.7899 billion mt, up 1.9 percent year on year, according to the latest data issued by China’s Ministry of Transportation (MOT).
 
In the given period, the overall passenger volume transported at large ports in China amounted to 57.96 million, down 1.7 percent year on year.
