France's steel product export value up 14.5 percent in Jan-Feb

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-February period this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €1.79 billion, rising by 14.5 percent year on year.

During the period in question, France exported €203 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 19.7 percent, €112.6 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 7.4 percent, €62.4 million of cold drawn wire - up 4.35 percent, €77.13 million of cold rolled steel bars - up 22.7 percent, and €135.5 million of metal structures and parts - up by 51.5 percent, all compared to first two months of 2017.
