France's steel product export value down seven percent in January-September

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-September period this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €7.38 billion, decreasing by seven percent year on year.

In the given period, France exported €1.11 billion of steel pipes and tubes - up 17.9 percent, €322.35 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 6.7 percent, €438.8 million of cold rolled steel strip - down 13.1 percent, €245.26 million of cold drawn wire - down 9.3 percent, and €508.94 million of metal structures and parts - falling by 9.1 percent, all compared to the same period of 2018.
