France's steel product export value down 7 percent in January-February

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-February period this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €1.67 billion, decreasing by seven percent year on year.

In the given period, France exported €307 million of steel pipes and tubes - up 50.7 percent, €80 million of cold rolled steel bars - up 7.3 percent, €111 million of cold rolled steel strip – down 1.3 percent, €58 million of cold drawn wire - down seven percent, and €109.5 million of metal structures and parts - falling by 19.2 percent, all compared to 2018.
