France’s GDP rises 0.3 percent in Q3 over Q2

In the third quarter of the current year, France's gross domestic product (GDP) rose 0.3 percent quarter on quarter after a 0.1 percent quarter-on-quarter decrease recorded in the second quarter, according to the detailed statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE).

During the same period, in France household consumption expenditure increased by 0.3 percent quarter on quarter, after a one percent quarter-on-quarter decrease recorded in Q2. Meanwhile, France's import value rose 0.7 percent quarter on quarter after a one percent decrease in the previous quarter, while the export value rose slightly by 0.8 percent quarter on quarter in Q3 after the 0.7 percent quarter-on-quarter increase recorded in the previous quarter.
