Foreign direct investment (FDI) in China in November of the current year totaled $10.36 billion, up 22.2 percent year on year, as announced by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) on December 16. In the January-November period of the current year, FDI in China totaled $106.24 billion, up 0.7 percent year on year.
In the first 11 months of the year, around $58.55 billion of the total FDI went into China's services industry, while FDI in Chinese manufacturing declined by 13.3 percent year on year to $35.93 billion. Meanwhile, overseas foreign direct investment by Chinese companies in the January-November period totaled $89.8 billion, up 11.9 percent year on year.
