Foreign direct investment in China rises by three percent in January-February

Foreign direct investment (FDI) in China in the January-February period of the current year totaled $21.69 billion, up 3.0 percent year on year, with a total of 6,509 new companies set up by foreign investment in China, as announced by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC).

In particular, in the given period the direct investments made in China by South Korea, Singapore, the US, the Netherlands, Germany and France increased by 35.6 percent, 8.4 percent, 44.3 percent, 174.8 percent, 39.9 percent and 113.3 percent, respectively, year on year.
