Foreign direct investment by Chinese companies up 16% in Jan-Nov

In the January-November period of the current year, overseas foreign direct investment (FDI) by Chinese companies totaled $104.13 billion, up 16 percent year on year, as announced by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC).

Meanwhile, in the given period 2,998 foreign projects were contracted by Chinese companies in 60 countries along the One Belt, One Road area, with a value of $71.63 billion, up 11.2 percent year on year, accounting for 43.9 percent of the total value of new foreign projects contracted by Chinese companies in the January-November period this year.
