Finished steel inventory in China decreases during June

As of June 27 this year, overall domestic inventories of the five main finished steel products in China totaled 12.19 million mt, down 0.51 million mt or 4.0 percent month on month, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).

In particular, as of the given date, domestic inventories of hot rolled coil (HRC), common medium plate, wire rod and rebar amounted to 1.53 million mt, 1.04 million mt, 2.69 million mt and 4.92 million mt, respectively decreasing by 2.9 percent, 5.0 percent, 0.2 percent and 8.2 percent, while domestic inventory of cold rolled coil (CRC) totaled 2.01 million mt, rising by 1.8 percent, all on month-on-month basis.
