China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that as of December 30 inventories of the main finished steel products in China amounted to 8.0787 million mt, up 1.1 percent week on week. The MOC stated that it also expects that finished steel prices in the Chinese domestic market will likely move on a soft trend in the coming period due to slackened demand.
