FDI by Chinese firms in One Belt, One Road area up 36.7% in Jan-Oct

In the January-October period of the current year, overseas foreign direct investment (FDI) by Chinese companies along the One Belt, One Road area totaled $13.17 billion, up 36.7 percent year on year, as announced by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) on December 2

Meanwhile, in the given period Chinese companies signed contracts for 2,677 foreign projects in 60 countries along the One Belt, One Road area, with the total value of the contracts amounting to $64.55 billion, up 21.6 percent year on year, accounting for 43.3 percent of the total value of new foreign projects contracted by Chinese companies in the January-October period this year.
