Fangda Special Steel posts 56.89 percent decline in net profit for Q1 2026

Jiangxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Fangda Special Steel Technology Co., Ltd. (Fangda Special Steel) has announced that it registered an operating revenue of RMB 3.999 billion ($0.58 billion) in the January-March period this year, down 7.96 percent year on year, while posting a net profit of RMB 108 million ($15.7 million) for the given period, down 56.89 percent year on year.

In the given period, Fangda Special Steel’s steel product output, including automotive leaf spring, flat spring steel, quality wire rod and rebar, amounted to 1.0193 million mt, down 0.81 percent year on year, while its sales volume of steel products totaled 1.0211 million mt, down 0.73 percent year on year.
