Euro zone’s economy up in Q4

European Union (EU) statistics agency Eurostat indicates that the Euro zone's GDP (Gross Domestic Product) rose 0.2% in the final quarter of 2004 and was up 1.6% year-on-year. The data also show that domestic consumption increased 0.5% from the third quarter. Investments, exports and imports saw a rise of 1%, 0.5% and 1% in the fourth quarter.
