EU scrap index moves on sideways trend in April

According to the scrap index of the European Steel Association (EUROFER), local scrap prices in the EU in April this year trended more or less sideways compared to March. Meanwhile, after having spent three months trying to catch up with the quotations of one year earlier, demolition scrap and shredded scrap quotations in the EU in April indicated an increase on year-on-year basis.
