EU market opens up to Handan Steel hot rolled sheet and strip

SteelOrbis Shanghai After completing the EU-standard inspection and verification regarding Handan Steel's hot rolled sheet and strip, two experts from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance announced on November 10 that the quality and production process control of the two products in question are in accordance with EU-standard requirements. As a result, a EU-standard license is expected to be issued to Hebei province-based Handan Steel within a month. SteelOrbis reported on Wednesday this week that Handan Steel's hot rolled coil on November 10 successfully passed a detection test under the EU Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive. So far, Handan Steel's cold rolled GI, CR, pickled sheet steel and HR have all passed EU RoHS tests and obtained European market licenses.
