Essar plans to build HR mill in Trinidad

Indian steel giant Essar Steel is currently waiting for environmental clearance for its planned hot roll mill in Trinidad and Tabago. The company has stated that they expect to receive the clearance, and that construction of the plant should begin in May. Essar says that the production of hot rolled steel, which the company plans to export to Central and North America, is expected to begin in two years.
