Erdemir continues to beat records
Turkish integrated flat steel producer Ereğli Demir ve Çelik Fabrikaları (
ERDEMİR) has revised its 2003
production target upwards from 3.25 million tons to 3.35 million tons.
According to an official announcement by
Erdemir, the monthly sinter
production is increased to 183'025 tons in March 2003, compared to the March 2002
production of 180'915 tons.
Furthermore, the continuous annealing and temper rolling
production was actualised at 74'842 tons in Arpil 2003 and was increased to 75'395 tons in May 2003.
