Erdemir collects bids for January-February exports

SteelOrbis is informed that Erdemir is inviting the exporters' bids for the exports it is planning to effect during the January-February 2004 period. The deadline to submit demands to Erdemir is November 13,2003. In line with the increasing trend of prices for flat rolled and coated products in the international markets, the export price expectations of Erdemir have also increased. As a result of the bids collected in the recent days, Erdemir has sold a limited quantity of cold rolled steel sheet in coils at $420/mt FOB base, and galvanized coils at $430/mt FOB base price levels for export purposes.
