The European Commission has accepted the antidumping complaint made by Eurofer (European Confederation of Iron and Steel Industries) against hot dip galvanized iron imports from China.
Accordingly, the zinc and/or aluminium coated products under CN codes 7210 41 00, 7210 49 00, 7210 61 00, 7210 69 00, 7212 30 00, 7212 50 61, 7225 92 00, 7225 99 00, 7226 99 30 and 7226 99 70 originating from China shall be included in the investigation.
The investigation will be completed in 15 months. However, provisional measures may also be imposed before the investigation is completed, within nine months from last Friday.
