Donbas takes on Mittal in Czestochowa tender
The agency evaluating bids for Polish steel producer Czestochowa Steel Mill demanded that
Ukraine's Industrial Union of Donbas (IUD) and
Netherlands-headquartered Mittal Steel supply more information on the technical aspects of their bids by February 22, 2005.
Donbas reportedly has the upper hand in the tender based on the company's proposal to incorporate domestic raw material suppliers into the project.
