DMKD stops continuous casting billet mill for overhaul

Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after F. Dzerzhinsky (DMKD),  a subsidiary of Ukrainian steel producer Industrial Union of Donbass (ISD), has stopped its continuous casting billet mill No. 1 for capital repairs. The mill was stopped on December 19 and the repairs are expected to be completed within five days. The company plans to inspect equipment and to repair and replace machine parts where necessary. The completed repair work is expected to ensure stable and efficient operation of the mill.
