Desheng Industrial Group holds hot run test for new converter

Inner Mongolia-based Chinese mining enterprise Desheng Industrial Group has carried out a hot run test on its new converter within the scope of its new special steel production project with a designed annual output capacity of 3 million mt, as announced by China Metallurgical Group Co. (MCC). Construction work and installation of the converter was the responsibility of Anhui Province-based Metallurgical Engineering Technology Company, which is part of MCC.
 
Work on the project in question started on September 10, 2011.
