Crucible Industries announces electrode surcharge

New York-based Crucible Industries LLC has announced an electrode surcharge of 4 cents per pound ($88/mt) effective January 1, 2018. According to the letter sent to customers, the surcharge is for all electric arc melted grades of steel and it will be published with the company’s present raw material surcharge mechanism.
