Coal shipments on China’s railways up 10.1 percent in January-August

In August this year, coal shipments on Chinese railways amounted to 197 million mt, up 7.7 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).

In the January-August period of the current year, coal shipments on Chinese railways totaled 1.57 billion mt, rising by 10.1 percent year on year.
