Iron ore prices in China moved upwards during the month of November, as stated in a new report issued by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).
At the end of November this year, the China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) stood at 245.95 points, up 30.25 points or 14.02 percent month on month. In particular, the domestic production iron ore price index stood at 221.22 points, increasing by 4.3 points or 1.98 percent month on month, while the import iron ore price index stood at 249.69 points, rising by 34.18 points or 15.86 percent month on month.
For the whole of November, the average China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) was at 228.92 points, up 7.66 points or 3.46 percent month on month. In particular, the average domestic production iron ore price index was at 217.61 points, decreasing by 1.18 points or 0.54 percent, while the average import iron ore price index stood at 230.75 points, increasing by 9.18 points or 4.14 percent, both month on month.
