CISA: China’s average daily crude steel output down slightly in early Dec

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has stated that in early December (Dec. 1-10) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of its member steel enterprises in China totaled 1,656,900 mt, up 0.98 percent compared to late November (Nov. 21-30). In early December, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 1,945,000 mt, indicating a decrease of 0.76 percent compared with late November.
 
Also in early December, the average aggregate daily pig iron production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 1,966,300 mt, down 5.22 percent compared to late November.Meanwhile, the average aggregate daily finished steel output of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 2,703,400 mt, down 2.74 percent compared to late November.
