Chinese shipbuilding firms see reduced gross profit in Jan-Nov

In the January-November period last year, 1,449 large and medium-size shipbuilding enterprises in China registered a total operating revenue of RMB 688.56 billion ($104.64 billion), up 2.2 percent year on year, with a gross profit of RMB 15.61 billion ($2.37 billion), down 37.3 percent year on year, according to the figures released by the China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry (CANSI).
