Chinese importers are gambling upon quota renewal

Warehouses in China are filling up with cargoes that have been purchased in hope of the safeguard measures being renewed in two months time when they expire, SteelOrbis is reported. A trader commented that if the trend continues like this, even if the new quotas are granted, those quotas might be used up very quickly once they are re-instated.
