China’s hot rolled sheet output down 24.3 percent in October

In October this year, China produced 631,000 mt of hot rolled sheet, 10.417 million mt of wide common medium steel strip and 4.404 million mt of thin hot rolled strip, down 24.3 percent, 1.6 percent and 3.3 percent year on year, respectively.
 
In the January-October period of the current year, China produced 6.275 million mt of hot rolled sheet, 103.838 million mt of wide common medium steel strip and 45.363 million mt of thin hot rolled strip, down 4.1 percent, 1.1 percent and 4.4 percent year on year, respectively.
