China’s value-added industrial output up 6.9 percent in Jan-Jun

In June this year, China's overall value-added industrial output increased by 7.6 percent year on year, with this growth rate 1.1 percentage points higher than that in May, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Meanwhile, in the January-June period of the current year, China’s overall value-added industrial output increased by 6.9 percent year on year.

In June this year, of the 41 industrial sectors in China, 38 witnessed year-on-year increases in value-added industrial output. In the given month, respective year-on-year increases of 0.7 percent, 12.3 percent, 13.1 percent, 4.6 percent and 12.3 percent were recorded in value-added industrial outputs in the ferrous metal smelting and rolling sector, the general purpose machinery sector, the automotive sector, the railway, shipping, aerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing sector, and the electrical equipment and machinery sector.
