China’s trade surplus for goods, services totals $32.6 billion in Jan

In January this year, China’s total exports and imports of goods and services amounted to $200.7 billion and $168.1 billion respectively, resulting in a trade surplus of $32.6 billion, as announced by China’s State Administration of Foreign Exchange.

In particular, in January China’s exports and imports of goods amounted to $178.9 billion and $125.4 billion respectively, resulting in a trade surplus of $53.5 billion, while its exports and imports of services totaled $21.8 billion and $42.6 billion respectively, giving a trade deficit of $20.9 billion.
