China’s retail sales of consumer goods up 9.3 percent in Jan-Sept

In the first nine months of the current year, China’s total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to RMB 27.4299 trillion ($3.96 trillion), up 9.3 percent year on year, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). In September alone, China’s total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to RMB 3.2005 trillion ($0.46 trillion), up 9.2 percent year on year.

In particular, in the first nine months, total automotive vehicle sales in China reached a value of RMB 2.8068 trillion ($0.41 trillion), increasing by 0.2 percent year on year.
