China’s retail sales of consumer goods up 10.2 percent in January-April

In April this year, China’s total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to RMB 2.7278 trillion ($0.395 trillion), up 10.7 percent year on year, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics. 

In the January-April period of the current year, China’s total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to RMB 11.3102 trillion ($1.639 trillion), up 10.2 percent year on year. In particular, in the given period total automotive vehicle sales in China amounted to a value of RMB 1.2402 trillion ($179.739 billion), rising by 3.4 percent year on year.
