In November this year, China produced 122,000 new energy vehicles, up 70.1 percent year on year, including 105,000 pure electric passenger cars and 17,000 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, rising by 64.3 percent and 117.0 percent year on year, respectively, according to the latest data issued by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
In the January-November period of the current year, China’s new energy vehicle output amounted to 639,000 units, up 49.7 percent on year-on-year basis, including 532,000 pure electric passenger cars, rising by 56.6 percent, and 107,000 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, up 22.5 percent year on year, respectively.
